Jean Deaux? ¿Juan Dó? Jan Doë? In the latest of the "Tabs I Have Had Open for Too Damn Long" infotainment series, please enjoy wikipedia's List of Placeholder Names (in various countries/locales).

I got here by looking up "Nanashi no Gonbei":
名無しの権兵衛 Nanashi no Gonbei (lit. Nameless Gonbei) is a common placeholder name for a person whose name is unknown, comparable to John Doe in English. Gonbei is an old masculine given name that, due to being common in the countryside, came to have connotations of "hillbilly".

Thanks, videoedgames.

I was watching a true crime show recently that said in one part of the USA (possibly Miami?), they have so many unidentified murder victims, mostly women, that instead of Jane Doe #1, Jane Doe #2, etc. instead they use identifying info from the victim instead, e.g. Ankle Rose Tattoo Doe, Eyebrow Scar Doe, etc. to distinguish them all.
