What did I eat today? I had spaghetti with mushrooms and asparagus for dinner. It was pretty damn good and only took about 10 minutes to make.

I had this for iftari (that's when we break our fasts; it's ramadan here--well, as it is everywhere really. for those who might not be aware of what ramadan means, which i think after iraq and afghanistan, i doubt anyone would *not* know about it, is the month when muslims not eat or drink anything from dawn to dusk, everyday, for an entire month).

The dish is called Haleem, and is a staple during this month when almost everyone--muslim or non, end up thronging wherever it's sold, usually at most cafe's/eateries/restaurants.

Jesus Christ, wtf--I think that might've broken mecha... had no idea it was gonna blow up like that. Apologies.

Todays's Iftari: a chicken pizza, with oregano topping, chips, and some delicious roohafza (the glass container on the right).

You know, after the glossy--state of the art, looked like it had been part of a photo-shoot, majestic picture that Senyar had posted the other day, it just brought home the fact how much I should take note of what it is I'm putting up here and how good or not it's going to look... and what's worse is, I had taken this that day as well, and didn't even think of posting it.

Not saying that it looks "great" or anything, just that it's *better* than the other pic.
