Am I the only person who has a huge problem with them? It's like this aesthetic disease took over clothing makers a decade ago and shows no sign of letting up.

The human silhouette should not look like an inverted triangle. I mean, I get that legs are naturally tapered, but even if you want to wear something that conforms tightly to the shape of your lower body and legs, there's no need for the part around the shin and ankles to be tightly wrapped.
